The short version. We only store what the site needs to work. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so we do not ask you to accept any.

Cookies

• Sign-in cookie: keeps you signed in to your customer account for up to 7 days, or until you sign out. It cannot be read by scripts on the page.
• Staff device cookie: for our own staff accounts only, so we notice a sign-in from a new device. It lasts about 13 months.

Storage on your device

• Quote form draft: what you have typed into the quote form, so it is not lost if you leave the page. It never includes a password, expires after 30 days and is cleared when you send the form.
• Remembered email: your email address, so you do not have to retype it, while "Remember me on this device" is ticked when you sign in. Untick it to remove it.
• Display choices: things like the colour theme and which project or tab you last had open.
• Notification banner: whether you chose "Not now", so we do not keep asking.
• Offline copies of account pages: pages you have opened in your account are saved on your device so you can read them without a signal. Up to 64 pages, kept for 30 days and deleted when you sign out or sign in as someone else.

Other websites' content

The "Recent work" photos on our home page are loaded from Instagram's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details when they load. We do not add any Instagram or Facebook tracking code.

Managing storage

You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Doing so signs you out and removes saved drafts and offline pages. See our privacy notice for how we use personal data.
